NIMBIN’S MARDI GRASS GIVEN GREEN LIGHT FOR 2021

The North Coast’s annual Mardi Grass festival has been given the green light, after being cancelled last year due to covid.

The three-day festival will begin tomorrow with a march to protest for cannabis law reform.

Over the weekend, organisers have lined up a range of speakers and artists to perform.

Police say they will be out in force during the event, after a number of drug-related infringements were recorded during the 2019 event.
