The case for Victoria to legalise cannabis

There are calls for the Victorian government to legalise cannabis completely.

Paul Healey, Secretary of The Health and Community Services Union (HACSU), told Tom Elliott it should be taxed and licensed by government.

“Let’s prevent criminals getting that money,” he said.

He said the “war on drugs” had not worked, pointing to success overseas with similar measures.
